Event Description

Sarah Kay a New Yorker, poet, educator, and co-director of Project VOICE. She’s the author of five poetry collections, including B, No Matter the Wreckage, The Type, All Our Wild Wonder, and her latest, A Little Daylight Left. A celebrated performer in over 30 countries, she’s also a TED speaker, New Arizona Fellow for New America, and a writer-in-residence at Hedgebrook. Her work extends beyond the page—she’s an occasional editor for Write Bloody Publishing, a co-columnist for PoetryRx at The Paris Review, and a co-curator of the Ours Poetica web series. She was the first-ever feature on PBS NewsHour’s Brief But Spectacular series and has been an artist-in-residence at Serenbe, Grace Cathedral, and Kundiman. Join us on May 30th in Serenbe for an unforgettable poetry performance as part of her residency, followed by a book signing at Hills & Hamlet to celebrate her newest collection, A Little Daylight Left. Don’t miss this chance to experience her words live!
