Who Is Slow Burn?

Bruce Frodge (the Burn Master) has been pounding out syncopated rhythms and beats since puberty. As one of the most sought after musicians in the greater Cincinnati area, Bruce has earned his “props” by providing the driving beat behind such high-energy groups as the Avenues, and Hot Wax. Bruce is the founder, leader, and architect of Slow Burn.

Bob Schliebaum(Sly) has often been described as a guitar savant. With a warm vocal style that brings goose bumps and melts the hearts of the ladies, Sly is always a crowd-pleaser. Bob’s experience as a career firefighter, has truly equipped him to provide the smoke and smolder to the Slow Burn Band.

Our smiling bassist is Tim Frodge. Tim is everyone's favorite Slow Burner. It is a surety that you will fall under the spell of Tim's charisma as he provides the thundering bottom that is so essential to maintaining our Slow Burn.

The one and only "Wireless Mike" Barker holds forth on keyboards. There are definitely no strings on this guy (except those that he invokes from his Korg). Mike adds an air of respectability to the burning proceedings. He's bona fide!

 Guitarist Dave Warren's energy is legendary... As he plays and sings, he is whirling, dipping, strutting, and dancing the whole while. Dave injects that elusive element of soul into all that he does. There is definitely something smoldering beneath the surface with this guy.

Bobby Lewis is the “Genuine Article”. As one of the few remaining true soul men, misterbobby is uncompromising in his mission to deliver great songs in a classic, soulful style. Bobby’s credentials include several years performing as a featured vocalist with national recording act “Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose”. Bobby is the man who fans the flame and keeps our Slow Burn going.

•  Excellent dance floor with capacity for a large crowd.


•  Tickets: $10 online or by phone at Showclix Box Office. Tickets purchased at the door are $12.50, if available.   Ticket price includes all fees and taxes.


•  Cash Bar for beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks. The Patriot Center is a Permit Premise, outside beverages are not allowed. No BYOB.
  


•  Table snacks (pretzels and chips) will be provided.  Light snack foods/appetizers may be brought in.
  

All groups of 8 or more ordering as a group will be seated at a table together.   Open seating is available for all others.
