Not necessarily a whodunnit but more precisely a who’s-gonna-do-it, SLEUTH features two legends of British cinema as a pair of men gripped in an extreme game of cat-and-mouse. A famous mystery writer (Olivier) attempts to trap his wife’s lover (Caine) with a clever scheme, but the tables are quickly turned – and turned again and again – in this twisty two-hander.
