Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants Flower Demo

Come and join us at the Lightner Museum for a flower arrangement demonstration given by the wonderful ladies of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants. As members of the Garden Club of St. Augustine, Marilyn Smith and Cathy Snyder have combined their creative genius to guide and instruct people on how to create elegant arrangements and tablescapes within their own homes. By using creative containers and fresh flowers, the Sisterhood will show how to wow your guests and brighten your home. 

This demonstration will focus primarily on the decorative aesthetic of the late 19th century to early 20th century and will highlight the upcoming Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times exhibition to be held at the Lightner Museum beginning in October 2017. 

Light refreshments will be served by the Garden Club and the event will be held in the Lightner Museum East Room Gallery.
