We were as saddened as everyone else by the passing of one of Hollywood’s most enduring (and endearing) mother/daughter duos, Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, at the end of last year. We celebrate them both with this double feature screening. In the glorious musical SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, Debbie stars as a chorus girl who gets her big break in Hollywood thanks to the advent of sound.
