From our guest speaker Caroline Goldberg Igra:
The world has a very limited idea of what life in Israel has been like since October 7th. I have woken up to sirens in the middle of the night. Friends have called, choking with sobs at the death of a neighbor's son or daughter. I worry that my sons will be called to fight--having served in previous wars. What we are experiencing is poorly described by the international press and hyperactive social media. The feeling of the world's censure is unbearable. Despite all this, I intend my talk to affirm that the healthy heart of Israel still beats strongly.
Join us for a presentation from the author followed by a Q&A session. A light bites dinner and dessert will be served.
Proceeds from this program will benefit the Israel Emergency Campaign.
