The Shea team is pleased to announce a full roster of programming this autumn. From Caribbean-influenced bluegrass jams to an acoustic performance by a musician made famous for his cover of a famous Peter Gabriel tune to a band that's been around since 1968, we at the Shea are sure there’s something for everyone in the Pioneer Valley this upcoming season. As an incentive to see our diverse list of concerts over the next month, we are offering a Fall 2022 Season Pass for $100! See six concerts for the price of five! (Note: The Scrooges show is not included in this deal.)
Accessibility Notice: Our theater and first-floor gender-neutral restroom are wheelchair accessible. There is alcohol on-site for events unless specifically stated otherwise.
Our Halloweekend show sees the grand return of The Gaslight Tinkers to the Shea stage on Saturday, October 29th. They’ll have DiTrani Brothers as their special guests.
The legendary Outerspace Band makes their debut at The Shea on Saturday, November 5th. Formed at Trinity College in 1968, the band has been going strong ever since.
A week later, we welcome singer-songwriter Jeffrey Gaines on Friday, November 11th. Perhaps most known for his heartfelt cover of Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes,” we’re excited to bring his acoustic stylings to the Shea stage.
The Linda Ronstadt Experience, featuring American Idol finalist Tristan McIntosh as a spot-on Linda Ronstadt, will perform on Saturday, November 12th.
Upstate, from the Hudson Valley area of New York, comes to the Shea on Friday, November 18th. Local heroes Mamma’s Marmalade will join them as special guests.
On Saturday, November 26th, The Big Takeover- also from the Hudson Valley- brings their infectious mix of old-school reggae and ska in the style of Desmond Dekker.
The Shea provides performance space for a variety of attractions designed to appeal to the widest range of tastes. Musical offerings include folk, pop, rock, swing, jazz, country and traditional. Theatrical productions encompass musical comedy, drama, comedy, and political satire. In addition, audiences can take advantage of magic shows, children's shows and silent film revivals.
The Shea, with the help of a wonderful corps of volunteers, has been attracting a growing audience and as a result is bringing people into Turners Falls from an ever larger geographical area. This growth has put the Shea on a firmer financial footing, providing the basis for expectations of an even more exciting future for this vital community asset.
