Sewickley Sweetest Walk 2020

It's STILL the Sweetest Walk in Sewickley! Formerly known as the Chocolate Walk, the stakes are higher this year as participants enjoy sweet treats of all kinds while browsing the stores & restaurants of Sewickley.

WHAT'S A SWEET WALK?
It's a lot of fun and a lot of sugar, that's what it is. Restaurants, retailers and businesses bring their best confections and face off to see who wins cash prizes for first, second, and third places. 

WHAT DO I DO? 
You'll purchase your ticket online in advance... This event sells out every year, so be quick! On the day of the event, you'll check in at the WOLCOTT PARK GAZEBO to get your map and a wristband. Then you'll make your way through the stops, sampling sweet treats of all kinds. At the end of your trip, you'll turn in your map to vote for your favorites (and you'll get entered into a raffle for prizes!). 

HOW DO I START?
Your first stop is at the Gazebo at Wolcott Park (corner of Beaver and Broad Streets). You'll check in and pick up your map, wristband, and a bottle of water.

WHERE DO I PARK? 
Free event parking is generously provided by one of our wonderful sponsors, Heritage Valley Hospital! Additionally, street parking is available on Beaver, Broad, Thorn, and Walnut Streets. There are also two lots: Division Street and Green Street. **Parking is unfortunately NO LONGER FREE on Saturdays.

SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING? 
Just yourself and an appetite!

DOES THIS EVENT SELL OUT?
Historically, it does. We limit the number of tickets sold because the businesses who participate in this event do so at their own expense. It's time consuming and pricey to make all of those treats! As a courtesy to the businesses, we limit the number of tickets sold so that it's more manageable.

MY CHILD IS (INSERT # HERE) - DO THEY NEED A TICKET?
Every participant receives a wristband so that you can get your samples. Your child can share YOUR treats without a ticket. If you would like them to get their own sample, you must purchase a ticket for them. No one, regardless of age or how cute they are, will receive their own sweet treats without a wristband!
