Seneca Lake Wine & Food, May 18, 2019

The Seneca Lake Wine and Food Festival will celebrate some of the best the Seneca Lake area has to offer. Featuring over 200 wines to choose for sampling, along with food vendors, live music and waterfront views for you to enjoy! This event is generously co-sponsored by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce and Visions Federal Credit Union.

When and Where:

Saturday, May 18th, 2019 in beautiful Clute Park, Watkins Glen, NY
Gates open at 11 a.m. close at 5 p.m.

Ticket Prices:

• $35 Wine only tickets include free wine tastings and souvenir glass. You can buy food samples straight from vendors. Also included this year, a one day, Sunday only pass to visit participating winery tasting rooms and receive a complimentary flight of wine samples (must attend event to receive).


• $15 Designated Driver tickets include free water/soda.


• $50 per person Multi-course Wine & Food Pairing with Sommelier Joshua Carlsen held at 11:30 AM.  Must also have purchased a regular festival ticket to attend this seminar, details below.


• $15 per person Wine & Cheese Seminar   held at 1:30 P.M. or 3:00 P.M.  Must also have purchased a regular festival ticket to attend this hour long seminar, details below.

Purchaser should bring a print out of the receipt with barcode for faster entry.  Advance ticket sales end by 9:00 p.m. EST May 17th, the night before the event. If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available to purchase at the gate. Tickets are not refundable, exchangeable or changeable and Seneca Lake Wine Trail events are never cancelled.

Wineries & Featured Wines
Featuring over 200 wines to choose for sampling!  In 2018 most wineries brought a small batch of various special wines, including new releases, award winners, and reserved wines, some of which aren’t even available to the general public! Food & Unique Vendors
No food tickets to buy, you are free to purchase food directly at the vendors, typically ranging from $5-10.  Food samples can also be purchased straight from some of the vendors for $1-3 per sample so keep a lookout!  Click Eateries & Vendors to see the variety of food and other unique vendors.

NEW!  Multi-course Wine & Food Pairing with Sommelier Joshua Carlsen:  11:30 a.m.
New to the festival this year, we’re adding delicious, educational wine and food pairing seminars! No snobbery here, just great food and amazing wine. Seminars will be led by Sommelier Joshua Carlsen from Stonecat Café (Hector). Josh will be sharing delicious dishes prepared by some of the best chefs in the region. The best part? The chefs will be part of the event too! Josh and each chef will walk you through the wine and food separately and then help attendees understand why they pair so well together. Tickets are very limited. Seminars are exclusive but very interactive and experiential.

Wine & Cheese Seminars:  1:30 p.m. or 3 p.m.
The Finger Lakes Cheese Alliance will be hosting two educational Wine and Cheese Seminars, the first at 1:30 p.m. and the second at 3:00 p.m.  During each of these 45 minute long seminars, participants will have an opportunity to learn a bit about our regional, artisanal cheese and wine industry, while enjoying 8 different wines carefully paired with a variety of regional cheeses.  Folks attending one of these seminars must have also purchased Festival tickets themselves.

Parking & Directions
Parking at the event site is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Cost is $10 a vehicle.  Satellite Parking is available at Watkins Glen High School which is located at 301 12th Street, Watkins Glen, 14891. There will be FREE shuttle service provided to and from the high school to the event. Shuttle will run every 15 minutes.
