Plan your Self-Guided Field Trip at #FortEdmontonPark. Explore 150+ acres at your own pace, customize your itinerary, and choose activities that suit your group’s unique learning goals. Wander through our historic eras, ride the steam train and street cars, chat with costumed interpreters, and explore the new Indigenous Peoples Experience!

Self-Guided Field Trips include Admission to the Park. You can book up to 30 students and 8 adults per class at a time. *Please note, if booking for multiple classes, you must register on a separate booking. 

• For up to 30 students - Discounted rate of 16.72$ (+GST) per child (3-17) 


• Teachers & Chaperones - Free Admission (Max of 8 per group)

The 2023 General Admission Season officially opens on May 20, 2023 and is open Wednesday-Sunday weekly. 

• Bookings are closed ten days in advance of the day of the occurrence. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. 


• Payment is due upon booking your Self-Guided Field Trip.   


• During May/June Fort Edmonton Park will open the gates at 9:30 am for Self-Guided Field Trips entry ONLY
