Secrets & Safety: A Creative Sharing Guide for Writer-Performers a BFF 2025 Free Event

It’s BFF 2025, the 10th Annual BFF Binge Fringe Festival of FREE Theatre, October 14 through November 16, the only FREE Fringe Festival in the nation, offering 36 in-person plays, workshops and family-oriented events, tonight presenting:

Do you carry a family secret? Or another kind of secret? A secret you might want to share in a solo show, a book, or a play? A secret that, if shared, could harm someone or violate their privacy? I’m a professional secret keeper. My day job ( shall remain anonymous).

We will explore SAFE, LOVING ways to share secrets on stage and beyond. You’ll be introduced to a practical tool that helps you gauge the emotional intensity and potential impact of your story before sharing it publicly or creatively. Creating a solo show can be deeply therapeutic but the stage is not therapy. One of my goals today is to help you build discernment—to know what to share, when, and how-with care, clarity, and Love Boundaries intact. All bodies, all ages, all abilities welcome.
