Four beautifully crafted monologues by Alan Bennett reveal the secrets behind ordinary suburban lives. These stories of despair, confusion and isolation are told with the deftness, compassion and humor that have made Alan Bennett one of the UK’s most beloved writers. The monologues are, “Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet” with Gay McCommons, 'The Hand of God' with Bryn Adamson, 'The Outside Dog' with Terrell Austin, and “Nights in the Gardens of Spain” with Ginny Simmons. Four of Athens’ most talented actors reading four poignant and moving stories. Adapted and directed by Steve Elliott-Gower.

#Herstories will be performed at Town & Gown Players, 115 Grady Avenue, for one weekend only:  October 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. and October 27 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at townandgownplayers.org
