Sea Turtle Release

The Boca Beach Club will be hosting a Sea Turtle Hatchling Release

Friday, September 1st, 2017 at 7:30 PM.

Hatchlings removed from nests that had to be excavated will be released by experts from Gumbo Limbo Nature Center onto the sands of our beach, several feet from the water’s edge. You’ll have a rare opportunity to watch as they scurry into the ocean! Dr. Kirt Rusenko, a marine conservationist from Gumbo Limbo, will be on hand to provide interesting and informative insight into the lives of the sea turtles that make their nests on our shores. Space is limited and reservations are required.
