Sean Carney Band with Tom Carroll & Linda Dachtyl

Ohio’s only International Blues Challenge Band Champion Sean Carney will lead an all-star collection of Central Ohio’s best jazz musicians in an exploration of the territory where blues and jazz meet, drawing from such artists as Jimmy Witherspoon and T-Bone Walker. Carney will be joined by jazz guitarist Tom Carroll, Hammond B-3 Boss Linda Dachtyl, drummer Brandon Pettiford and The Ohio Horns for an evening of sophisticated swinging blues. 

Carroll has been a longtime performer in the Central Ohio music scene and recently retired from Denison University where he was a guitar instructor and coordinator of many jazz and other music events. 

Linda Dachtyl is a performer/composer in jazz, blues, rock and classical music genres and holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from Capital University and a Master of Arts in Percussion Pedagogy from The Ohio State University.
