IMPROV 301: The Harold

Mondays 6:30PM – 9:30PM

IMPROV 301 focuses on the gold standard of improvisational storytelling known as The Harold. Learning this structure provides improvisors an opportunity to develop and practice all the basic building blocks commonly used in long-form improvisation including theatrical openings, scene editing styles, beats, callbacks, group games and group scenes. This class will give you the tools to forge group mind and build a spontaneous and evocative piece of improvised theater.

First Class: Monday, August 18th

Class Show: Monday, October 6th

Instructor: Nick Jaramillo

Registration: $300 (Early Bird Registration: $270)

Prerequisites: IMPROV 101 and 102

*There is no class held on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day. Students will have the option to attend a makeup class on Tuesday, September 2nd from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Arcade Comedy Theater classes are open to students 18 yrs or older.
