Improv Duos

TUESDAYS 6:30pm – 9:30pm

It takes two to tango and two to improv! This four week intensive class focuses on two-person long form improv. Taught by Pittsburgh’s own improv pair Fondue for Two (UCB’s Raina Deerwater and Alex Conti), this class delves into the art of the duo, from scene work and heightening to playing multiple characters in a scene. Take it with your improv partner or sign up solo. By the end of the four weeks, your duo will be sharing a brain.

Please note: pre-existing duo partners should register using "duo registration" which books two spots in class. If you need a duo partner, select "single rider" and our Academy Director will try to help you find a partner! 

First Class: May 23
Final Class: June 13
Class Shows: June 20 and June 27
(Note: depending on class size, there may be only one class show on June 27) 
Instructors: Alex Conti and Raina Deerwater 

Prerequisites: Improv 101, 102, and 103 (301 recommended) or approval of submitted prerequisite exception form.

Arcade Comedy Theater classes are open to students 18 yrs or older. 

A limited number of half-internships are available for our 4-week summer session. If you need to make special arrangements for an internship please contact academy@arcadecomedytheater.com
