IMPROV 302M: Monoscene

Mondays 6:30pm – 9:30pm

This 4-week intensive will teach students The Monoscene: a longform comprised of a single, continuous scene in one location. This challenging form requires commitment to character, elegant heightening, and creating multiple layers of game and pattern throughout the single scene. A successul Monoscene creates a one act play unlike any other! Advanced experience with improv is required for these classes so the focus can be on the particulars of the form.

Prerequisites: Improv 101, 102, 201, and 301; or approval of submitted prerequisite exception form.

Arcade Comedy Theater classes are open to students 18 yrs or older.
