- Details
Saturday May 23 3:00pm-5:00pm
Inspired by Arcade’s Improv 203 elective class, this workshop will celebrate the inventive possibilities of short form improv while exploring the strange new world of improvising online. Participants will collaboratively develop new improv games and tweak existing ones for the online performance experience. Instructor Matt Hartman will break down the elements of classic short form improv games and lead participants through the process of creating new games and adapting old ones. Participants will also get the chance to try out these newborn games as brave comedy test pilots.
In consideration of the economic hardship many are facing during this time, we are offering tiered pricing:
$20 list price
$10 reduced price for those in need (limited availability)
$30 donor price to support Arcade and this special pricing structure
Instructor: Matt Hartman
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Participants will need access to a computer with a stable internet connection. The workshop will be conducted over Zoom, which requires creating a free account.
