IMPROV 302X: Mx Performance

Wednesdays 6:30pm – 9:30pm

This 4-week intensive will teach students an original Arcade form: Mx Performance* an organic longform in which each scene connects to the next via a delightful and often unexpected thread. This form relies on a cohesive ensemble, and much of our work will be ensemble-building. The class will also hone your organic scenework, push intuitional play, and give you more practice with group scenes. 

* Pronounced "mix", inspired by a more gendered name for a sketch show from the 90s that had the same flow as an Mx Performance set

Prerequisites: Improv 101, 102, 201, and 301; or approval of submitted prerequisite exception form.

Arcade Comedy Theater classes are open to students 18 yrs or older.
