Wednesdays 6:30-9:30
If you’ve ever been in an improv scene that you wished would could burst into song, or felt terrified when one does, then this six-week class is for you! Vocalists of any skill level are welcome to come work on finding their voice and harmonizing with accompanists and other improvisors. The principles of song forms that we cover will help any improviser spontaneously and confidently sing structured songs and even tighten up their short-form skills. Take your games to the next level with strategies for setting up rhymes and group choreography with your fellow improvisers. The class culminates in a short-form showcase of your new skills in crafting melodies, lyrics, and dance moves!
