Event Description

Nestled in the scenic river valley on 158 acres of wooded parkland, Fort Edmonton Park takes you on an iconic journey through the city’s incredibly rich history, from the 1700s to the 1920s. Fort Edmonton Park is the largest living history museum in Canada, offering visitors authentic, immersive and engaging experiences. Enhancing the uniqueness of the experience are historic buildings and artifacts, a steam locomotive, streetcars, a boutique hotel, a 1920s-style midway and a state of the art 4-D theatre.

Fort Edmonton Park is also home to the new signature exhibit, the Indigenous Peoples Experience. Here, visitors will learn about First Nations and Métis peoples, who will recount their history in their voice. Visitors will be immersed in these rich cultures through Indigenous narrators, interactive and hands-on exhibits, and engaging audio-visual components.
