ADVANCED SKETCH

Mondays 6:30pm-9:30pm

Advanced Sketch builds on what you learned in Intro to Sketch Writing to help you write stronger, more varied sketches, and introduces the basics of producing a sketch show. Students will gain more tools and techniques for sharpening their writing skills including developing comedic-characters, enhancing dialogue, and exploring different types of sketches while strengthening and defining the writer’s unique point of view. Additionally, Advanced Sketch leads students through the basics of writing and producing a full sketch show, culminating in a public performance in week 8 with a rehearsed sketch show the class will build collaboratively.

Arcade Comedy Theater classes are open to adults 18 yrs or older.

Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you sign up for a class and are unable to attend, please contact us in advance and we may be able to switch your enrollment to a different eligible class. Students looking to enroll in advanced classes (102 & higher) must be able to meet the prerequisites.
