Welcome to the Sandbox!

Here at Arcade Comedy Theater, we take a sandbox approach to our youth comedy classes. You can come back time and time again and still learn something brand new. It's what we love about improv - the sand we use is always the same, but the creations are constantly changing!

We offer three sessions of classes for ages 9-13 all focusing on the fundamental improv skills of "Yes, And...," supporting and listening to your team, and having fun! Each session will focus on a specific aspect of the art of improv. While you do not have to take one to participate in another, we certainly encourage you to experience all three. Go with us on a journey as we learn How we work together (Ensemble), Where we can go (Environment), and Who we can become (Character)!

*If the class is full upon registration, we will put you on a wait list and try our best to get you in!

Perfect for everyone from the aspiring actor, to the class clown, to the thoughtful observer–Kids Comedy Classes are open to all personalities and experience levels! Improvisation isn’t just for future comedians. Kids will gain confidence in navigating challenges, public speaking, critical thinking, and working as a team, all while laughing and playing fun improv games (similar to those seen on TV’s Whose Line Is It Anyway?)
