The Vehicle is a time tested Blues/Rock band that also steers into the jamband genre from time to time. The band is fronted by Ron Yarosz who was referred to by the Internationally syndicated radio program Beale Street Caravan as a ”Harmonica and B3 maestro” (October 2010).. He either drives the Vehicle from the front of the stage while playing harmonica or steers it from behind the Hammond B3 organ. On guitar…The Super-Charger of the Vehicle…Eric Brewer. He was a finalist at Guitar Player Magazine’s Superstar competition and has won several awards for his playing ability. The Drive Train of the band is made up of Jassen Wilber on Bass (who has toured the world with his bass with Bernard Allison and others) and Norbbie Gavin on drums. They all call Erie, PA home. The band has a deep well of original material to draw from and does their own versions of some of their favorite classic blues songs. The band is the winner of the 2011 Cleveland Blues Challenge and a two time winner of the Pittsburgh Blues Challenge (2008 and 2010). Ron has won 12 Rock Erie Music Awards including Favorite: Blues Band, Essential Player (Harmonica), Album of the year, and Keyboard Player. The band has represented Blues Societies three times at the International level while competing at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN.
