Roast & Toast on the Coast 2017

Join us October 6-8, 2017 on Bald Head Island, North Carolina, for “Roast & Toast on the Coast,” a Southern Living Inspired Event Weekend celebrating the Southern Living Inspired Community at Cape Fear Station. Enjoy three days of activities centered around fine wine, craft beer, craft cocktails, and the best of Southern food.

The weekend kicks off Friday, Oct. 6 with your choice of a Southern Living Inspired Wine Dinner at the Shoals Club (ages 21 and up) hosted by Southern Living Test Kitchen Director Robby Melvin OR a family friendly oyster roast at the Bald Head Island Club (all ages).

On Saturday, visit open houses in the Southern Living Inspired Community and tour the 2017 Southern Living Idea House in Cape Fear Station (Idea House tour tickets must be purchased separately online or at the door). Then, enjoy a late afternoon on The Common at Cape Fear Station with wine, beer and cocktail tastings and a down-home dinner presented by pitmaster Matt Register of Southern Smoke BBQ. As the sun sets, take in a special concert under the stars by "new grass" band The Midatlantic (all ages).

On Sunday, start the day with a delicious brunch at the Bald Head Island Club. Cap off the weekend with a wine tasting and seated dinner at the Bald Head Island Club featuring fine wines presented by B Cellars of Napa Valley, all rated 90+ by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (ages 21 and up). A complimentary annual subscription to the Wine Advocate is included.
