River Valley Rangers:

What began as a few friends playing songs along the banks of the Fox River has formed to become the high-energy bluegrass/newgrass band that is River Valley Rangers. With inspiration from the great outdoors, river-valleys, adventure, and good friends, the Rangers bring a passion to their music that you can feel in your heart all the way down to your feet.

They have played as direct support for notable bluegrass artists including: Jeremy Garrett of the Grammy Award-winning The Infamous Stringdusters, Grammy Award-winning The Travelin' McCourys, Grammy-nominated and IBMA winners Special Consensus, Kitchen Dwellers, Rumpke Mountain Boys, and many more.  They have shared the bill and stage with acts including: Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Billy Strings, Sam Bush Band, Jeff Austin Band, David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Pert' Near Sandstone, The Steeldrivers, and Cold War Kids to name a few.  The Rangers have performed at a variety of music festivals throughout the region including: Frankfort Bluegrass Festival, Shoe Fest, Moon Dance Music Festival, Flatrock Bluegrass Jamboree, Down on the Farm, and Two Brothers Summerfest,

They released their first full-length album "Wide Open" in April of 2019, and embarked on their second national tour supporting the release of the album.  Keeping busy with shows around the Midwest and beyond, as well as a full Summer festival schedule, the Rangers continue to build a loyal following within the bluegrass and jam scene. Burning like a Midwestern prairie fire, they aren't slowing down anytime soon!
