Richie English is a nationally recognized composer, pianist,


arranger, and producer. He has worked on several Billboard-charting albums by artists including the GooGoo Dolls, Michael Franti, and Moody Blues founder Denny Laine as


orchestral composer and co-writer.


English was the youngest registered piano teacher in NYS at 11 years old, studying under Juilliard-trained pianists Frieda & Stephen Manes. He graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a piano performance degree and a master’s in music theory.


In 2006 English performed two recital programs for the Dalai Lama during his visit to UB. 


With co-host Stratton Rawson, English can be heard on Fridays at 10.a.m and 10.p.m on WNED Classical’s Stratton and Richie: Entering Music.


Listeners can also catch English solo on Wednesday nights at 10.p.m on From the Piano Bench.


The concert will feature classical masterworks by Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin, and Brahms- it will also feature some of Richie’s own virtuoso compositions! 


Opening we are thrilled to welcome back Andrew Janowski!


WFCA is a non profit arts venue. Purchasing a ticket supports our music based programs for Veterans, kids, caregivers of loved ones with dementia/Alzheimers as well as music therapy for young adults with autism.


Venue has a bar with beer, wine and cider, concessions with house made pizza whole or by the slice,snacks, soda, coffee and tea.


NO outside food, drink, water bottles, alcohol, etc. permitted. 


All Ticket Sales are final- No Refunds


Online tickets sales will end 30 minutes before show at which point tickets can be purchased at the door if available. Doors open 1 hour before concert start.


All handicapped parking requires a handicap placard or plate.
