Out of the Shadows Theater Group presents our shadowcast performance of Repo! The Genetic Opera by the only sanctioned Repo shadowcast in Utah, The Utah Scalpel SL,UT's.
Your organs will be repossessed on Saturday, January 22, 2022, beginning at 8pm at Alliance Theater on 602 East and 600 South, Suite E101, Salt Lake City, Utah 84102. Parking is available at the underground garage on 600 East. Or you can join us virtually in the comfort of your own home.
In person tickets are $25 and virtual tickets are FREE. Tickets are available online at https://www.showclix.com/.../repo-the-genetic-opera.... All in person tickets include Zydrate, opera mask, dismembered eyes, gummy body parts, and a retractable knife. We suggest getting to the theater at least 30 minutes prior to showtime as all seating is general admission.
We will have trinkets/souvenirs for purchase on the night of the shows. All proceeds will go to the Out of the Shadows Theater Group for updating costumes and props for upcoming shows.
What is shadowcasting you ask? A Shadowcast is a group of actors who get onstage to do a performance of a movie while the movie itself plays in the background, therefore casting shadows on the screen. Also, the performance of same. First started by The Rocky Horror Picture Show, other movies that are often shadowcast are REPO! The Genetic Opera, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
This movie is rated R. Do to the adult nature of this film for graphic bloody content and brief nudity, we ask that you be 18 and over to attend and participate unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Repo! The Genetic Opera and pre-show involve themes that may be inappropriate for children, and even for some particularly sensitive adults.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
Utah Arts Alliance requires all attendees at Alliance Theater provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of the event OR full COVID-19 vaccination (at least two weeks after final dose). Proof may be presented as a digital or printed copy of a negative test result or vaccination, or the original vaccination card. Name must match the name on a valid id for entry.
Vaccination details - “Fully vaccinated” means that ticket holders have received their final vaccination dose with the last vaccination shot at least 14 days before the event. A paper or digital version of the vaccination card is acceptable.
Testing details - Ticket holders who are eligible for vaccinations, but unable to present proof of vaccination, can bring a dated negative COVID test result taken 48 hours before entering the theater along with their photo ID. The COVID test must be administered from an official testing center and must be a PCR Molecular or Antigen Test. Photo ID must match the name on the test report. Home test results will not be accepted.
Refund policy - No refunds! Except for individuals testing positive for COVID-19, or individuals who have been recently exposed to Covid-19 or are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19.
