We are disappointed that we must announce the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio will not be performing as scheduled for the Mary Anne Rennolds Chamber Concert Series on Saturday, March 17. Pianist Joseph Kalichstein has injured his arm and is unable to perform. VCU Music sends him our warmest wishes for a swift recovery!
The storybook romance of the Bolivian-born violinist Jaime Laredo and American cellist Sharon Robinson has, for nearly 40 years, been expressed in every facet of their lives. Joyous and sophisticated music making, both separately and together, has earned them many devoted fans the world over. The Minneapolis Tribune has referred to The Laredo-Robinson Duo as “the foremost husband-wife team in concert music.”
