RAE

RAE is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto, who articulates her journey of self-discovery through a blend of R&B and electronic sounds. From Scarborough, RAE was raised among a vibrant cultural landscape, and was introduced to an all-inclusive collection of music that expanded her influences. Classically trained in Piano, Saxophone and specifically Voice, this helped establish discipline and expand her creative abilities. From the age of 14, she began writing music and poetry of her own as a means of authentic expression and release, and after writing and playing for artists behind the scenes, her debut as a solo artist focuses on transforming personal experiences into evocative musical narratives audiences can identify as their own.
