NYC Pride: Pride Island


NYC Pride is proud to announce the return of Pride Island, the premiere music festival experience of Pride Weekend. 


For the first time ever, celebrate with us in our NEW location on Governor’s Island. Accessible from both Manhattan & Brooklyn, this will be an Island experience you won’t want to miss.  


There’s something for everyone at this year's Pride Island! Saturday, get ready for back to back sets by some of your favorite artists & DJs including Lil' Kim, Shenseea, Netta, Raye & Papi Juice. Then close out the weekend on Pride Sunday with the ultimate DJ dance party and headlining performance by the one and only Kim Petras!

This year’s Pride Island music festival will take place on Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26 at Play Lawn on Governors Island. The Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street in Lower Manhattan will serve as the primary entry point for all event goers. The Battery Maritime Building can be accessed by subway (1 to South Ferry, 4/5 to Bowling Green, R to Whitehall Street) or by bus (M9, M15, M20, M55). Ferries will be operated by The Trust for Governors Island. Pride Island attendees may show their tickets to board ferries departing from the Battery Maritime Building; no additional reservations are required.


  • Ferries will depart from Battery Maritime Building every 15 minutes from 10:00am to 9:00pm and arrive 15 minutes later at Governors Island Soissons Pier

  • Return ferries departing every 15 minutes from Governors Island Soissons Pier will arrive at Battery Maritime Building 15 minutes after departure.

  • The last ferries will depart Governors Island at 11:15pm each night


In addition to the dedicated ferry schedule listed above, event goers can access Governors Island via regularly scheduled ferry service which will be fully operational throughout the weekend. Pride Island attendees are strongly encouraged to take ferries to the event departing from the Battery Maritime Building as outlined above. Additional ferry service to Governors Island is available via the Trust for Governors Island’s weekend service departing from Brooklyn and via NYC Ferry for $2.75 prior to 7PM. Please note, after 7PM there is no service via NYC Ferry or to Brooklyn. All return ferries for Pride Island guests will return to the Battery Maritime Building.

GENERAL ADMISSION


Each GA ticket includes general admission to Pride Island plus access to the following:



  • A full day of performances on Governor’s Island incl. roundtrip ferry tickets

  • Diverse offerings from local food vendors & trucks including vegan options

  • Multiple bars, access to purchase NYC Pride merchandise, free water stations, activations, and more



VIP


Each VIP ticket includes general admission to Pride Island plus access to the following:



  • A full days of performances on Governor’s Island incl. roundtrip ferry tickets

  • Expedited entry to the festival grounds

  • Three (3) complimentary drink tickets each day

  • Dedicated VIP bars & private VIP restrooms

  • Exclusive VIP viewing area



CABANAS


Each Cabana includes a private seating area overlooking the crowd at Pride Island plus access to the following:



  • A full day of performances on Governor’s Island incl. roundtrip ferry tickets

  • Six (6) cabana wristbands to access GA, VIP and the Cabanas 

  • Private seating area for you and five of your friends

  • Two (2) complimentary bottles of Skyy Vodka, including ice, mixers & snack tray

  • Cabana takeaways, including NYC Pride branded pillows

  • Access to dedicated VIP bars, private VIP restrooms & escorted entry to the Cabanas via a dedicated lane



SKY SUITES


Each Sky Suite includes a private seating box overlooking the crowd at Pride Island plus access to the following:



  • A full day of performances on Governor’s Island incl. round trip ferry tickets

  • Twenty (20) Sky Suite wristbands to access GA, VIP and your Sky Suite

  • Private seating box for you and nineteen friends overlooking the crowd for the best stage view at the festival

  • Full-day open bar, snack tray + access to private VIP restrooms

  • Suite takeaways, including NYC branded pillows

  • Escorted entry to the Sky Suite through a dedicated lane
