Pocantico Spring Forum: Building Community in Westchester County
What does it mean to be in community?
Westchester County is in the midst of important social and demographic shifts that could have implications for voting rights, income disparity, and housing and tenants’ rights, among other things. Rockefeller Brothers Fund Director for Democratic Practice-U.S. Keesha Gaskins-Nathan and Community Voices Heard Executive Director Juanita O. Lewis will share a snapshot of evolving local demographics, debunk myths about our region, and consider the opportunities and challenges ahead. They will then invite audiences, both in-person and online, to join the discussion about how building community can help address some of the most pressing issues facing the people of Westchester County. A reception will follow.
This event will be offered both in-person at the Pocantico Center and virtually via Zoom. If you would like to attend this event and require live Spanish language or ASL interpretation, please email pocanticoprograms@rbf.org.
If you would like to attend virtually, please click here to register.
