Penny Arcade: Halloween Costumes and Comedy

An outdoor kids comedy show!

Arcade Comedy Theater brings you our award-winning kids comedy show, Penny Arcade, performing a brand new outdoor show at the Trust Oasis. This Halloween-themed comedy event will be filled with family-friendly improv games and interactive activities!

• COSTUME CONTEST! Adults and kiddos are encouraged to dress up and show off your Halloween costumes a little early. Join the Penny Players in their favorite dress-up time of the year! Special prizes will be awarded for most creative and cool costumes! (Every kid who comes in costume will get treats)


• TRICKS & TREATS! We'll be handing out treats before the show, and families will be able to support Arcade by making donations for baked goods. 


• INSPIRED COMEDY OUTSIDE! The Penny Players will be performing improv games inspired by ideas from the audience — in-person for the first time since March!

Our traditionally hands-on kids show has been reimaged with safety and social distancing in mind. Families are invited to come and enjoy activities at their assigned tables, show off their Halloween costumes, and inspire hilarious comedy scenes. 

In accordance with state guidelines, masks are required for children above 2 yrs old.

Runtime: 50 minutes
Tickets: $10-5, plus a "pay as you wish" option

Safety and Guest Comfort 

We want to make sure that every performance at the Oasis is safe for our guests, artists, and staff members, and we will be asking everyone to do their part in following local and state health guidelines. 

• Please stay home if you’re sick or if you’ve had contact with someone who has been sick in the last two weeks. See ticketing and refund information below.


• Laugh through your mask: masks will be required at all times.


• Comedy at a distance: all seating is assigned and arranged following social distancing guidelines. We will be seating you based on the number of tickets in your order, with no more than four guests to a table.


• Hand sanitizer will be available on every table and sanitizer stations at the entrance.


• The Oasis is wheelchair accessible. If you would like to inquire about accessibility accommodations, please contact operations@arcadecomedytheater.com


• Arcade is unable to provide public restrooms at this venue.

Ticketing and Refunds

• No risk ticketing. We ask that if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been diagnosed, or have been in contact with someone who has been sick, that you stay home. Arcade will provide a full refund of the ticket price (we are unable to refund service fees).


• Weather conditions: Pittsburgh weather can be unpredictable. Patrons are allowed to bring umbrellas and are encouraged to dress for the outdoors. However, safety is our top concern, and in the event of heavy rain or inclement weather the show will be cancelled and ticketholders will be notified via email.


• Other cancellations: Arcade reserves the right to cancel shows with notice in the event of changes in state and local guidelines or by requests of the property owners. In the event of a cancelled show, ticket holders will be notified with as much notice as possible and given the option for a refund or to swap tickets to a future outdoor show.
