This self-referential, pop culture send up written by and starring geek faves Simon Pegg & Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) wastes no time poking fun at itself but, in the end, proves to be a surprisingly heartfelt story about friendship. Two British fanboys (Pegg & Frost) visiting the US for ComicCon cross paths with a real-live E.T. when they meet congenial alien Paul (Rogan) while on a desert roadtrip.
