Event Description

Summer’s most exciting riverfront party is even bigger and brighter!

Riverlife's board of directors and event chairs Kathy and Lou Testoni cordially invite you to Riverlife's Party at the Pier fundraiser celebration commemorating our 20th anniversary. This year’s “Bold Paradise” theme pays tribute to the bold vision of Riverlife's founders to create an urban oasis of riverfront parks, trails, public open space and real estate investment on Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.

Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, creative craft cocktails, complimentary boat rides on the Gateway Clipper Fleet, dancing, and surprises right on the waterfront.

Suggested dress code:

Bold, colorful summer cocktail attire inspired by nature: think flowers, birds, butterflies, fish, animals and other elements that make our riverfronts a paradise!

Ticket Levels:

  • $250 VIP Reception honoring Riverlife’s founders, 6:30-7:30 pm. Valet parking included. Limited tickets available.

  • Main Event $145 Riverlife Supporter individual ticket, 7:30-11:00 pm. Valet parking included.

  • Main Event $80 Nonprofit, Student & Public Employee individual ticket, 7:30-11:00 pm. Parking not included.

Bold Paradise honors the bold vision of Riverlife's founders, who took a boat ride on the Gateway Clipper in August 1999 to survey the opportunities for Pittsburgh's riverfront renaissance. Their vision for a system of trails, interconnected riverfront parks, public open space and waterfront real estate development is what we celebrate today.
