See improv acts from Pittsburgh and beyond! This show features Game Shark, Andy’s Mints, Sad Trombone, and Real Housewives of Montana.
Featured Acts:
Game Shark
Short form – with TEETH! Game Shark is a lively crew, ready to take you on an improv adventure full of over-the-top characters, absurd situations, and marine-based puns.
Andy's Mints
Andy’s Mints was originally put together through the experimental ensemble program by The Nest Theatre, founded by Tara DeFrancisco and Rance Rizzutto. Coached by Andy Spitzer, our group is comprised of a wonderfully eclectic group of improvisers, from various performance, work, and life backgrounds, who all enjoy being just plain weird together. Because of our varied stories, we bring painted scenes that bring out the complexities, oddities and humor in life by focusing on the relationships we have with those around us.
Sad Trombone
Hailing from the City of Brotherly Love, Sad Trombone is the brotherly lovechild of Steve Kleinedler and Ralph Andracchio. These two veteran improvisers have performed all over the US and enjoy digging deep into the nooks and crannies of relationship muffins to find all the buttery goodness. Give them your disappointing personal stories, and they’ll give you a show that patiently explores what made it so disappointing in the first place through interesting characters and engaging relationships.
Real Housewives of Montana
The Real Housewives of Montana are an eight-person long-form improv team based out of Steel City Improv Theater (SCIT). They are currently serving as the SCIT’s resident house team and can be found performing every Thursday night during the summer of 2017. They’re here for the milk, not the drama.
