Featured Acts:

W. Kamau Bell

Emmy-nominated comic and CNN host W. Kamau Bell delivers incisive, scathingly funny commentary on modern society that will change your view of race, politics and social issues in America. As host of the CNN docu-series “United Shades of America,” Kamau travels the country, offering viewers a rare yet eye-opening look inside the various subcultures of American life. The second season for United Shades of America began in April. He first captured audiences’ attention with his thought-provoking one-man show, “The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in About an Hour,” and later, with his widely praised FX comedy series, “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.” The multi-talented entertainer also hosts the must-listen podcasts, “Denzel Washington is The Greatest Actor of All Time Period” and “Politically Reactive,” as well as the live public radio show, “Kamau Right Now!” Kamau’s book, The Awkward Thoughts of W. Kamau Bell was released May 2nd.

Chanel Ali

Chanel Ali is a standup comedian who blossomed on the Philadelphia circuit and honed her skills after moving to New York City. Her stage presence and story teller style make her a crowd favorite and she was recently featured on an episode of Night Train with Wyatt Cenac on Seeso.

Mark Caesar

Former member of The United States Air Force and a two term war veteran, Mark Caesar has been a breath of fresh air to the New Orleans comedy scene. Before Caesar took the internet by storm with his “Shit New Orleans Girls Say video”, which today has millions of views and was filmed and directed by Steve Wade (Dubb Productions) Mark was already playing large audiences across the United States. With his unique joke writing and awkward delivery of punchlines Caesar hangs his hat on never being compared to another comedian! In 2012 Mark was a winner in the Louisiana funniest person competition and appeared in the hit comedy movie “This is the End” along side comedic genius Seth Rogan and James Franco.

Isaac Crow

Isaac Crow is originally from West Virginia and has been in Pittsburgh for six years now. He went to college for theater tech, so now he works in restaurants to make a living. He’s participated in a variety of shows throughout the city, such as the Burning Bridges Festival (opened for James Adomian), The Moth (Storyslam winner), Wordplay at Bricolage, and more. Life goals include visiting China and finishing the book he’s started writing. He’s also not Jewish, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
