Kids Comedy Cabaret

Laughs for the whole family! A perennial PCF favorite, the Kids Comedy Cabaret is best for children ages 5-12.  The show features interactive improv from Penny Arcade, kid-friendly stand-up from Mike Buzzelli, 11-year-old comedian Jack Rau, a creation station from The Mattress Factory, and improvised sing-alongs with Missy Moreno! Plus, this show is pay-what-you-wish!

Penny Arcade

Penny Arcade is an improv comedy show designed for kids 5–12 years old & fun for the entire family. Draw, write, and craft at our Collaboration Stations. Mike Buzzelli

Mike Buzzelli is a stand up comedian and published author. He is a theater and arts critic for ‘Burgh Vivant, Pittsburgh’s online cultural talk magazine, and an active board member of the Pittsburgh New Works Festival, the Carnegie Arts Initiative and the Carnegie Screenwriters. His book, “Below Average Genius” is a collection of essays culled from his weekly humor column here in the Observer-Reporter.

Jack Rau

Born in Maui, Hawaii, and raised on the West Coast, 11 year-old Jack Rau is destined to make the world laugh. Jack currently lives in Pittsburgh (where his parents Kelli and David grew up) and has a knack for comedy, singing, art and music. At the age of 8, his natural talent for performing landed him a lead role in a short film Imagination Snow by Alex Rodia, then at 10, he was casted in a commercial campaign for UPMC. When he’s not playing soccer or performing with the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus, you can find him telling jokes and pulling funny pranks on friends and family. With the ability to emulate his favorite comedians like Sebastian Maniscalco and Jim Gaffigan, Jack Rau has no fear when it comes to an impromptu performance of his favorites.

Missy Moreno

Missy Moreno is a Pittsburgh-raised-happy-yinzer and is thrilled to be part of the kids comedy of PCF! Missy started studying and performing comedy in Chicago at the legendary Second City, improvising and writing and making musicals with many! She also trained with the Annoyance and iO. Back in PGH, Missy has been based out of the wonderful Arcade Comedy Theater producing and writing all types of comedy and collaborating with so many wonderful artists. Missy is half of the musical comedy duo "babyGRAND" with Connor McCanlus and have traveled all over improvising musicals , including PCF in 2015! Missy also works as a professional actor in PGH and is currently playing "The Witch" in BIG FISH the Musical with Front Porch Theatricals through end of August! She has worked with Bricolage , City Theatre, PMT, and toured schools with GOH for Pittsburgh CLO where she is also on staff as a Teaching Artist for their pre-professional Musical Theater Academy!
