Event Description
The Subway Art History Project! Mural Unveiling with Art Talk & Book Signing

Join us in welcoming a group of artists from New York City who are coming to Miami to paint a massive mural that will serve as a teaching tool about graffiti history and raise questions about what we call “history” in Western civilization. The project will be unpacked by visiting professor emeritus from the University of Strasse Dr. Edward Birzin, current adjunct lecturer at Brooklyn College in NYC, and published author many times over. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place promptly at 11AM, followed by the presentation discussing the Subway Art History Project. There will also be a book signing for the text “What Do One Million Ja Tags Signify?” as well as other easter eggs.
