William Shakespeare's Macbeth

William Shakespeare's Macbeth, performing outdoors at the historic Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. 


Gates open for picnic dinners at 6:00. 


Preshow entertainment--The Greenshow--begins at 7:30. 


Performance begins at 8:00. 








Long honored as one of Shakespeare’s best tragedies, Macbeth tells the fictional story of a Scottish lord who might be king, but the price he must pay is a dreadful one. Witches, prophecy, murder, and war all swirl together in the cauldron of this classic story of good versus evil. 








 Wheelchair accessible; trams avaliable.


Concessions (picnic foods, snacks, tea, coffee, beer, wine, soda, etc.) avaliable for purchase. You may also bring your own picnic dinner if you prefer!


Beer and wine avaliable for purchase on grounds, but liquor laws prohibit outside adult beverages.
