Gab Bonesso is known for her super high-energy and wild stage presence. Despite being a self-proclaimed maniac, Gab's show are fun, friendly and welcoming. Joining her are equally as high-energy Improv Duo: Nonsense. Nonsense is a one-of-kind improv experience. This is a high-octane combination of performers. About Gab Bonesso:

Comedian Gab Bonesso has walked the line between comedian and political activist her entire career. Bonesso, the only woman named BEST COMEDIAN in Pittsburgh 3X (twice by The Pgh City Paper and once by Pgh Magazine), is best-known for pioneering Pgh’s Alternative Comedy scene. Richard Lewis described Gab as “the real deal and f**king hilarious” and Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead described Gab as a “superstar”. In 2016, Whirl Magazine named Bonesso one of the most “Powerful Women in the World” for her work in comedy both as a standup performer and as a producer. As a comedy producer, Bonesso has always amplified the voices of the oppressed within the comedy community. Her shows are known for being diverse, political and wild! Gab is also an award-winning Children’s Performer. Her band: The Josh and Gab Show has appeared on PBS, CBS and WQED TV. The Josh and Gab Show is a high-energy, ANTI BULLY duo that has performed at the World Cafe, hosted AIRE LIBRE (an International Children’s Festival in Monterey Mexico) and has appeared in many ANTI-BULLY PSA’s that have been shown both on TV and in movie theaters across Pennsylvania. Bonesso, who identifies her comedy as “absurdist”, earned an Experimental Artist Residency at Carnegie Mellon University which was funded by a Grant from the Pgh Foundation.

Gab professionally speaks about her struggles with mental health issues and advocates for both children and adults on the subject. She was recently chosen as one of the “100 Best Speakers on Mental Resilience” alongside other speakers like the Dalai Lama. Whether she’s delivering a Tedx Talk on the anti-bully movement, or being the first comedian signed to MISRA records, Gab Bonesso is determined to use her voice to fight for the oppressed.

About the Oasis

Arcade Comedy Theater presents an outdoor, live comedy series in the heart of the Cultural District! Spend your Sunday nights with us enjoying in-person shows that are refreshing, fun, and safe. 

Safety and Guest Comfort 

We want to make sure that every performance at the Oasis is safe for our guests, artists, and staff members, and we will be asking everyone to do their part in following local and state health guidelines. 

• Please stay home if you’re sick or if you’ve had contact with someone who has been sick in the last two weeks. See ticketing and refund information below.


• Mask up: masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. If you aren’t vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a proper face covering during your time at the Oasis.


• Comedy at a distance: all seating is assigned and arranged following social distancing guidelines. We will be seating you based on the number of tickets in your order, with no more than four guests to a table.


• Hand sanitizer will be available on every table and sanitizer stations at the entrance.


• The Oasis is wheelchair accessible. If you would like to inquire about accessibility accommodations, please contact operations@arcadecomedytheater.com


• Arcade is unable to provide public restrooms at this venue.

Ticketing and Refunds

• No risk ticketing. We ask that if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been diagnosed, or have been in contact with someone who has been sick, that you stay home. Arcade will provide a full refund of the ticket price (we are unable to refund service fees).


• Weather conditions: Pittsburgh weather can be unpredictable. Patrons are allowed to bring umbrellas and are encouraged to dress for the outdoors. However, safety is our top concern, and in the event of heavy rain or inclement weather the show will be cancelled and ticketholders will be notified via email. In most instance, the rain day for the show will be the next evening (Monday) at the same time.


• Other cancellations: Arcade reserves the right to cancel shows with notice in the event of changes in state and local guidelines or by requests of the property owners. In the event of a cancelled show, ticket holders will be notified with as much notice as possible and given the option for a refund or to swap tickets to a future outdoor show.
