NYCC 2025: Larry Lieber Experiences

Meet the man who helped create the Marvel Universe, Larry Lieber, in person at NYCC on Thursday, October 9!

Larry Lieber is a pioneering writer, artist, and creator who helped build the Marvel Universe, co-creating such icons as Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, and Groot while collaborating with legends like Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko during Marvel’s Silver Age. His landmark contributions include introducing characters in iconic issues like Journey into Mystery #83, Tales of Suspense #39, and Tales to Astonish #27 and #35, as well as helming the celebrated Western series Rawhide Kid and the enduring Spider-Man newspaper strip for decades. At 93, he made a bold leap into fiction with his debut novel, Chirps, a sci-fi tale about a genetically enhanced parakeet exploring themes of identity, belonging, and scientific ethics, earning acclaim for its originality and depth.

• One (1) unsigned copy of Chirps, a novel by Larry Lieber 

NOTE: Both the Single Autograph and the Fan Experience Package are for raw signatures only. Both options give you the ability to have your signature(s) witnessed and item(s) graded and authenticated. Fees are NOT included in this price and will be paid for by the attendee. An additional fee will be collected on each item presented for grading/authenticating at the signing and is separate from any grading, authentication or facilitator fee(s).
