Event Description

NYC Winter Lantern Festival 2019

After our success last year, the NYC Winter Lantern Festival is back to transform Staten Island’s Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden into a whimsical world of light. There will be over 1,000 lanterns on display, sculpted into magnificent figures of luminescent art. Bring your whole family to revel in eight acres of lights, live cultural shows, interactive exhibits, and more.

For those of you who attended last year’s event, prepare yourself for a completely fresh, new, and unique display!

Wednesday, Thursday: 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 5:00 pm - 10: 30pm
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: Closed
*Open on December 30th - 31st: 5:00 pm - 10:30pm

If you drive, we have two parking options:
1. On-site VIP Parking ($20):
on-site, there is limited VIP parking to accommodate approximately 50 passenger vehicles. If you need to park on-site, please purchase parking tickets when purchasing your event tickets. Since the number of on-site parking tickets is limited, make sure you buy your ticket ASAP before they sell out.

2. Empire Outlets Parking Garage ($10):
In addition to on-site VIP parking, we highly suggest you park your car at Empire Outlets parking garage at 155 Richmond Terrace. Enter at Wall Street and Richmond Terrace. From there you can take our free shuttle bus to our event.

Both parking ticket options are available on Showclix.
*To purchase your parking tickets, please purchase your event tickets first and then choose which parking option you’d like.
* For those who already purchased the event tickets, you can directly go to PARKING PASS PAGE to purchase your parking passes.
