Minimum contribution $10/person*.  Funds raised go to support the BPO’s free community concerts in neighborhoods throughout Western New York.

                          This concert is part of the “BPO Out of the Box” series, an innovative program that brings Buffalo Philharmonic musicians out into the community to perform at untraditional and unorthodox locations with a primary goal of reaching new and diverse audiences.

Named for the stage door at Kleinhans Music Hall, Normal St. Entrance started as a side project of two Buffalo Philharmonic Musicians, violinist, Amy Licata, and bassist, Brett Shurtliffe.  Looking to fill out the band, they brought on guitarist Matthew Sperber, and singer, Andrea Shurtliffe. 

An Irish-American folk band, Normal St Entrance focuses on complex arrangements highlighting, the classical training of the members.  Spanning the range from bawdy drinking songs to foot stomping virtuosic fireworks, NSE will delight the mind, body and spirit.  With Irish music unlike any you'll hear at your local pub, add a cold Guinness and it's a night to remember!
