In-Person Event

The Nichos Community Project is a multidisciplinary interactive cultural piece of the Mexican American community in Philadelphia. Through workshops and oral histories led by acclaimed actor/director, Tanaquil Márquez, Nichos will explore; la migra, chicano culture, la familia, Nahuatl and Mexican heritage. The community will collaborate and find inspiration to create dance, poetry and scene work from the authentic stories that have been shared.
