Nicholas Dawes Appraisal

The Lightner Museum and Flagler College are pleased to announce an appraisal demonstration and exhibition by internationally renowned antiquarian Nicholas Dawes. As a member of the Heritage Auctions team based in New York City, Mr. Dawes brings a wealth of experience and knowledge primarily focused on the history of ceramics, glass, silver and other decorative arts. 

Mr. Dawes will be giving a presentation demonstrating his methods as an appraiser on items from the Lightner Museum Collection, as well as on items special ticket-holders will be invited to bring with them. He will be able to lend his expertise in the field of small decorative items to value items. The Lightner Museum and Flagler College ask that these items are small enough to be carried by the individual ticket holder. 

This event will take place in the beautifully preserved Flagler Room which was once the Ladies' Drawing Room of Henry Flalgler's Ponce de Leon Hotel.
