Carolyn Summers

Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 1pm.

Have you been wondering what else you can do to mitigate the effects of climate change right here on the Cape?  Discover how introducing native plants can be a resource for combating climate change in our own landscapes.  This talk will help teach us that what we choose to plant can make a difference.

Carolyn Summers, author of Designing Gardens with Flora of the American East, is a co-founder and adjunct professor of Go Native U, a joint project of the Native Plant Center and Westchester Community College in New York.  She founded Flying Trillium Gardens and Preserve in Sullivan County, NY to showcase the importance and beauty of native plants to all landscapes.  The preserve is over 300 acres.  Summers is also a landscape designer.

A book signing will follow the lecture.
