Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos is a celebration of life and death, when the spirits of the dearly departed returns to earth for a family fiesta!  Escuelita has been honoring this traditional holiday through art, music and food for over 15 years and this year will be like no other.

Bring your friends together for this ancient yet very alive tradition, celebrated in Mexico and parts of Latin America.  (watch this brief overview if your curious about the origins)

Guests will be treated to delicious hispanic flavored dishes, prepared by Chef Kate Romane while enjoying 'loteria' (mexican bingo), a tarot card reading, sugar skull decorating, face painting and a silent art auction.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.  All proceeds will go towards the Spanish language and cultural programs of La Escuelita Arcoiris.
