Writer/director Terry Jones gathers most of his fellow Pythons – plus a few British comedy ringers – into the cast of this wonderful adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s children’s book. Jones himself portrays the titular Toad while Coogan (Mole), Idle (Ratty), and Williamson (Mr. Badger) round out the quartet of animals who make up the unlikely riverside companions.
