Tokyo Comedy Bar—Japan’s #1 comedy venue—is bringing its flagship Japanese-language showcase Monsters of Tokyo on the road.

This spring, spend a night with the killers of Tokyo comedy as they Godzilla-stomp their way across the United States. Monsters of Tokyo delivers the top voices of Japan’s stand-up scene performing entirely in Japanese, straight to your city—fast, fearless, and unlike anything else touring right now.

Led by Yurié Collins, Daisuke Muramoto, Daniel Wilson, Kansei Yasuda, and Shota Saimu, this powerhouse lineup will leave you laughing all night, and seriously considering a one-way ticket back to Tokyo with them.

With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.  

What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

About The Belly Room

Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.

Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.
